February Technique Class Thursday, February 2 at 6:30 or Friday, February 3 at noon

This month's Technique Class and Stamp Club will include these projects:

Violet Tea Cup Thank You (Marker to Stamp)

Masculine Birthday (Poppin' Pastels)

We made this card at Leadership, and I loved it! It uses the new Blossom Punch and Mixed Bunch stamp set.

Another card with the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set that was a Leadership Make and Take (well I altered the flowers to include the Sale-A-Bration designer series paper and used the new framelit).  It uses the tea stain ink spot and is minimally adhered to provide a cool look I think. (Well you have to see it.)

January Technique Class Thursday, January 5 at 6:30 p.m. or Friday, January 6 at noon

When we make this card next Thursday or Friday, class attendees may choose to use the "Celebrate You!" or "Hope Everything Looks Up Soon!" sentiments instead if they'd rather and even change the kite design, but as shown it makes a sweet Valentine. It isn't easy to resist rolling the pennies from side to side whatever your age.  The spinner is SO easy to place on this card. (Punch the old style word window twice as far in as you can from the top. Then line up the 1/2 inch circle punch and punch as far in as you can from the sides-easy peasy!)  The Send Me Soaring set may be my favorite from the Occasions Mini!

Next, up is the Ghirardelli Holder that is perfect for a quick gift from a friend.  My friend Trina gave me several of these for roomie gifts at convention last summer. Aren't they cute?  All I did was convert them to Valentines using a stamp from the new Take it  To Heart Set.

This intensely colored card is lined in red (in case you're worried) and has the new Real Red Dazzling  Details on it with the Red Glimmer paper.  I saw the white embossed heart tags (though I used different ribbon, stamp, embossing folder and added bling) on Pinterest, and the only credit said "from etsy"-sorry.

This card is made with stampin' Up!'s new Hearts Framelits....You may also choose to add a stamped image to the center, but you can decide at class.

The card does not fit in a regular envelope, and is obviously not a full fold, but there is plenty of room to write! :)

Not many techniques this month...It is more of a Valentine class I guess. :)

Christmas Giftables Buffet Saturday, December 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

I hope you can join me for some cute stocking stuffers, gifts and gift card holders as we get in the holiday spirit with Hot Cocoa, muffins and Christmas music!

You'll choose only the items YOU would like to make from a variety of choices. We'll make S'mores kits, Snowman Soup, M & M tubes with Santa, Reindeer or Penguin, Present gift card holders, Stocking gift card holders, Shaker cards, clear glass ornaments, "Folded Fan" paper, ribbon and glitter ornaments and possibly some other ideas as the time approaches.

The deadline to sign up will be Friday, December 2nd at 3:00 p.m. This is firm because I may need to order some things for the class.
1. Folded Fan ornaments....you can customize it to your liking, taking bits and pieces from different ones. Cost is $1 per folded fan layer (I'm accounting for the glitter)...I will also warn you that cardstock is more difficult to work with than our First Edition newsprint designer series paper.

Please specify: $2.00 ornaments: 2-layer snowman with Crochet bow or Celery with Red Satin bow and button

$1.00 ornaments: Single Layer Snowman with Very Vanilla Velvet Ribbon, Pine Cone, Mistletoe or Monogram.  (I don't care for the Holly anymore :) )

You can also be creative and make what you'd like...just let me know which ribbon so I can have it ready.

The M & M tubes will be $1 each. Sara Mattson-Blume created Rudolph, and Patty Bennett designed the Santa.

Stocking Gift Card Holders (You are allowed a jingle bell on either the Blue or Red, but if you are going to mail them, the bell would be smashed.) are $1.50.

Present Gift Card Holders are $2.00.
Please specify: Holly and Roses, Blingy stripes and dots, Ornaments or Pine Cones

Candy Bar Holders including Hershey bar are $2.00.

Clear Glass Ornaments with Ribbon hanger and Mica flakes inside: $2.50.
Choose Penguin, Little girl or Polar Bear

Snowman Soup (includes cocoa pack, candy cane, mini chocolate bar and marshmallows):

Choose Wild Wasabi green, Pool Party aqua or Bashful Blue true light blue: $2.00

Stockings with candy cane and mini hershey $3.50  For the neatest look, plan to emboss the main portion with  the Petals a Plenty folder as shown in the second and third pictures.
Choose Red and Celery, Red and white only or Cherry Cobbler and Vanilla

Try this adorable S'mores kit with enough ingredients for 2 microwavable S'mores. This great idea came in a swap from my friend Kim Bolzenthal.

There's a lot of sticky strip on this one: $4

Gift Tags:
Hinged top tags: 4 for $1
These four punched tags include bling and dimensionals (so you can attach them to your gift)...They will be four for $1 and are quick and easy. We'll stamp the "To: From:" inside in Black so that we don't mix the inks.

You might choose a little set of 3X3 notecards which can be included in gifts when you want to write a little note to the recipient...For $5.00, you'd make the box and 4 3X3 cards of your choice.  (More than 4 are shown to show you your options, and the 4th card in the masculine set is just like the front of the box.)

This set was designed and a similar set given to me by my friend, Holly Krautkremer.

Here are the last set of gift tags. We're making the Certainly Celery ones (the other one uses last year's designer series paper). Choose red or blue and choose a button ($1.25) or shimmer paper ($1):

December Technique Class December 1st at 6:30 p.m and December 2nd at Noon.

Join me for Technique Class and make 4 projects for $10 (free for 6 month/$25 Stamp Club members or with a $50 order and $5 for my downline or with a $25 order). Just let me know by Wednesday at 7pm if you'd like to attend please.

First up will be this dryer sheet technique card. We'll add glitter after stamping and put Dazzling Details glitter glue on the snowflake.  I had to try not to use blue because the other two Christmas cards have blue on them, but I'm happy with these Christmasy colors.

This card is a CASE of a CASE...The original crafter was Trish Miles, and I received a swap from Desiree Spenst.  Thanks for sharing ladies!

I changed the purples to green for my card.  Look for my posts later this week on my main blog showing how I've CASEd the ideas of others for my needs. I thought it might be a helpful thing to share.

I first saw a Wiper card on Janine Tinklenberg's blog, and when I saw this set, I had to make a wiper with it!  I hope everyone enjoys making it as much as I did.

Open:

As Christmas gets going in the real world, it is time for a Valentine's card in the crafting world...I think you could give this one to a friend or your mom as well. This set has some other nice sentiments for the inside as well.  We'll use the Poppin' Pastels technique for this card. This is MOJO217 which is this week's sketch.
