July Club and Class July 4 at 3:30 p.m.or 6:30 p.m.

Our July Club and Class will be July 2 at 3:30 p.m.or 6:30 p.m.

Please let me know if you are coming and at what time, so I may cut enough projects and have enough spots around the table. $10, or $5 with a $25 purchase, FREE with a $50 purchase, or FREE for 6 month/$25 club members.

I saw a card very similar to this and knew we'd want to make it for class. Sadly, the person had CASEd the card, so I don't know the original designer.  What a great idea it was--If you are the stamper in question, message me, and I will of course give you credit.

This card uses the new Elegant Dots Embossing Folder which I think coordinates well with the candy stamp and sentiment in this set as well as the candy Designer Series Paper sheet from the Cherry on Top paper stack.  For a main image I used the Amazing Birthday stamp with the Banners Framelits for a change. The colors were chosen for me by the DSP, and they are colors I like, but would not have normally put together.  I like the new Washi Label punch even more than I thought I would too!

I love these butterflies from the Watercolor Wings stamp set when stamped on white, but I wanted to try a different look and stamped in black on Pumpkin Pie. It is so fun to have a Butterfly embossing folder too!  I punched the Washi label punch twice to shorten it...It is so versatile.

I so like the Barnyard Babies Set. It is adorable for baby cards of course, but there are many fun possibilities for just Thinking of You type cards like the one I made below.

Masculine May Class and Club Thursday, May 14th at 3:30 or 6:30 p.m.

Our class will be Thursday, May 14th at either 3:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.

Please let me know if you are coming and at what time, so I may cut enough projects and have enough spots around the table. $10, or $5 with a $25 purchase, FREE with a $50 purchase, or FREE for 6 month/$25 club members.

I thought it would be a good idea to offer this graduation card for class this week.  It is available in either Navy, Green or Maroon with Grey.  Edmond High School colors just happen to be pretty darn masculine, so they'd make a great card for a man's birthday for those of you who don't need a graduation card this year. You can just change the "Happy Graduation" to "Happy Birthday" and replace the mortar board/cap with the "CELEBRATE!" sentiment from this set.

Next is this Happy Father's Day To A Classic card. You can give it to your dad or your kids' dad, and it makes a fun Birthday card if you don't need either of those too.  I love how easy it is to position the sentiments on the clear blocks just by using the grid paper.

Another card with options is this Ship Happy Birthday....You could also exchange the ship for the slightly smaller anchor from the Guy Greetings Set and use the sentiment "You're my anchor"....for a masculine anniversary card if you need that.

Finally,

April Stamp Club and Class Thursday, April 2 at 3:30 or 6:30 p.m.

Our class will be Thursday, April 2nd at either 3:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.

Please let me know if you are coming and at what time, so I may cut enough projects and have enough spots around the table. $10, or $5 with a $25 purchase, FREE with a $50 purchase, or FREE for 6 month/$25 club members.

This card uses the current Artisan Embellishment Kit (Item #137909).  I used the Die Cut Roses piece to create a stencil to create the Blushing Bride colored roses with Old Olive Leaves.  I saw the stencil idea on Patty Bennett's Blog as well as the grouping of 3 of the Rose Trim.  I know they are supposed to be Crisp Cantaloupe, but I think they look fine with Blushing Bride too.  I added Gold Satin Ribbon with Sahara Sand lace trim under it.

This card uses Blackberry Bliss ink...stamped off twice then sprayed with a mist of water to create a pretty good representation of a Red Bud tree since they are blooming this week in Oklahoma.  The top of the card has a "Thinking of You" sentiment as well.

Though not as impressive as when colored by the discontinued Blendabilites, the stamp still makes a lovely card. I used So Saffron ink on the newspaper to add some ivory and blend the button color into the rest of the card.

Finally, we have this Butterfly Basics card.  What a great set for making One Sheet Wonder cards or making our own Designer Series wanna be Paper!

Happy Easter Bunny Oval Scallop Card
Stampin' Up! has the cutest little egg shaped Easter Bunny stamp that just begged me to make an oval card.  I used Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky and Daffodil Delight.

Watercolor Bokeh Background
This watercolor bokeh technique card is intentionally similar to the layout of the bokeh card we did last month so that the technique shines through. This was fun to make and would be great in SO many color combinations.

Celebrate Your Day with Cake
I used the MOJO Monday Sketch 386 for this card...just slightly simplified.  The colors are a little too dark in my photograph, but they are Pumpkin pie, Daffodil Delight, Blackberry Bliss and Coastal Cabana.  There is a matching "Happy Birthday" sentiment for the inside of the card as well.

You Crack Me Up! Chicks
These little chicks are sweet in Pistachio Pudding, So Saffron and Crisp Cantaloupe.  You could even use this for a spring Birthday card with just a "Happy Birthday" inside instead of Happy Easter.

February Stamp Club and Class Thursday, February 5th 3:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.

Our class will be Thursday, February 5th at either 3:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.

Please let me know if you are coming and at what time, so I may cut enough projects and have enough spots around the table. $10, or $5 with a $25 purchase, FREE with a $50 purchase, or FREE for 6 month/$25 club members.

Sale-A-Bration continues this month, so you'll receive a free item from the SAB catalog for each $50 you spend! Let me know if you need a Sale-A-Bration catalog or an Occasions catalog!

When I saw the Pop-Up Diorama card tutorial by Julie Davison on Splitcoast, I knew I wanted to make one for a card for Stamp class. I think everyone will appreciate how easy this card will be.  The sentiment on the front could also be Happy Valentine's day, so it could be sent to anyone. I used the Itty Bitty Banners, a sentiment from the February Paper Pumpkin kit, the Stacked with Love dsp stack and the Groovy Love stamp set and matching Sweetheart punch. Be sure to use sticky strip to attach the flap to the FRONT of the card...not the back of the card. :)

For our Simple project we'll use the Tiny Treat Boxes to create a little box for gift giving.  They are food safe boxes, so they'd make a fun package for a chocolate bon bon too.  Yours need not look like mine....You could make the bow more masculine by leaving the tails straight or use a variety of different stamps on it.  You overlap the loops in the middle and wrap the cover around them.  I used sticky strip though most people say to use glue dots.

For this card, YOU choose how much work to do....I cut extra layers of petals, but there is certainly no ~need~ to do that....It will be lovely just stamped once with a little Rock N Roll technique.

This card uses the Bokeh Background....well my version of it anyway....with bling....as well as the Butterfly framelit with orange behind it to mimic a Monarch.  (I have a template for the orange.)  Probably would have been more accurate in Daffodil Delight as a Swallowtail butterfly, but I wanted to use orange. :) This is done with pencil erasers. You begin closest to the image and stamp lighter colors on the way toward the edge.

January Stamp Club and Class January 8th at 3:30 or 6:30 p.m.

Our class will be Thursday, January 8th at either 3:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.

Please let me know if you are coming and at what time, so I may cut enough projects and have enough spots around the table. $10, or $5 with a $25 purchase, FREE with a $50 purchase, or FREE for 6 month/$25 club members.

This month begins Sale-A-Bration so you'll receive a free item from the SAB catalog for each $50 you spend! Let me know if you need a Sale-A-Bration catalog or an Occasions catalog!

Hey, Valentine!  We'll use this cute folded banner from the Hey, Valentine set to make this little M&M tube for our easy project.

Along with the Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper (from the Sale-A-Bration catalog), this card uses the Lotus Blossom Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set, and I merely colored the pretty paper with ink using Sponge Daubers for a great resist effect....I also cut along the scalloped edge for interest. This sketch is MOJO378.

Remember these??? We'll also make this notebook holder, pen and envelope...Quick and Easy, but maybe a bit time consuming....though everything is cut and ready to go. :)

It uses the Flower Fair Framelit and your choice of Sale-A-Bration DSP, Ribbon and Button.

We'll also make this Valentine with the new designer series paper pack, .  I love the new Itty Bitty Accents too. In this card they are on the hearts....it doesn't have to be an exact match in heart shape to look super cute.  It matches the M&M tube, so if you have someone in mind, you might want to consider that.

I used the You Plus Me set a couple of different ways, and can choose your favorite to make. I love this little pom pom trim too. It is so silly...
