February Technique Class and Stamp Club

Club and Class are this Thursday, February 7, at 6:30 p.m. or Friday, February 8, at 12:15 p.m….unless you’d like to bring your lunch and eat with us at noon-we’d love to see you at noon if you’d like.

I have 8 of each project ready, so I hope you will all join me!

This Technique is called Puzzle Piece Resist

We'll use the Secret Garden Framelits to cut out these daisies.

This Petal Cone Treat Sleeve was inspired by both Dawn Olchefske and Anne Matasci, but mine does look different :).

We'll flatten a bottle cap (SU!'s soda pop top) for this one and add detail with Crystal Effects...Love the little heart paper clip too. :)  The stamp is from the Sale-A-Bration choice set, Patterned Occasions...I used the SAB ribbon again as well as a bit of the SAB paper.

You'll choose only the items YOU would like to make from a variety of choices. You might enjoy: Snowman Soup, M & M tubes, gift card holders, lip balm holders and more.

Please let me know your choices as soon as possible because I may need to order some things for the class.

(The idea came from LeAnn Pugliese.)

December Technique Class and Stamp Club

Join me on Thursday, December 6 at 6:30 p.m. or Friday, December 7 at noon. Please let me know if you are able to make it or not by Tuesday at 7 p.m. I'd love to see you all here!

$10 for 4 projects or free for 6 month/$25 stamp club members or with a $50 order. Only $5 with a $25 order as well...

First, is this torn edges card. I got the idea from my friend and stampin' idol, Janine Tinklenberg...Her card was a one-layer card with masking, but I love torn edge snow, so I did it this way.

Next is this Alcohol Reinker form of Emboss Resist. This was a lot of fun---I hope you like it too.

I loved a very similar card to this by my friend Kim Bolzenthal, so I changed it from Soft Suede to Cherry Cobbler and simplified it just a bit by using four punched images instead of three slightly taller images. I hope you like it!

We will also make an easel card with a small 2013 calendar on it.

Christmas Stamp A Stack #3 November 15th and 16th

I hope you'll be able to join me on November 15 or 16 for Christmas Stamp A Stack #3! As usual, Thursday at 6:30 or Friday at noon are our meeting times. Just let me know if you need a Saturday option, and I hope you find some cards in this batch that you like.

Stamp A Stack events are 16 cards for $22, and you'll need to provide your choices (Please use the bolded name I used above each card.) with your RSVP by Tuesday, October 16th at 7:00 p.m. Please plan to make at least 3 of each card you want to make.

Prepayment is required for a Stamp A Stack, so you will need to pay even if something comes up unforeseen for this class as I will have already cut paper and supplies for your cards. (There will be a time for you to come stamp them before Christmas-we can work it out.)

The cards include minimal bling, so you may want to purchase an extra pack of bling...You might also want to bring your envelopes (or order ahead for the nice quality Stampin' Up! ones) and stamp them to match your cards...

Come to Bethlehem in Purples

Cherry Collage (Please note: we will make this card at December Stamp Club)

Green Greetings (This is NOT a pocket card.) This uses MOJO Monday sketch 263 (MOJO263).

Squares and Scallops (MOJO Monday Sketch 265) You don't have to tell me which image you want...everything is the same except your choice of images.

Illuminate Snowflakes (idea from Janine Tinklenberg)

3D Pennant Punch Tree

Ornament Class Saturday, November 10th at 10:00 a.m.

I'm offering a new class this year specifically for the ornaments made with the ornament die.  It will be on Saturday, November 10th at 10:00 a.m.  If that time doesn't work for you let me know--I may be able to move the class to a different day and time.

This is the most difficult ornament which uses the Candlelight Christmas Specialty Desinger Series Paper. We will use two of the sheets of paper for the class, and you can use the remainder for other projects and scrapbooking.  You will also get a bottle of Green Glue the liquid MonoMulti glue.  The class fee is $25, and includes the remainder of the supplies that you need for the ornaments as shown. We'll listen to Christmas music and have hot cocoa and cookies for this event.

We'll stamp this ornament:

This simple ornament is shiny and sweet.

Technique Class and Stamp Club November 1 and November 2...

Join me on Thursday, November 1 at 6:30 p.m. or Friday, November 2 at noon. Please let me know if you are able to make it or not by Tuesday at 7 p.m. I'd love to see you all here!

$10 for 4 projects or free for 6 month/$25 stamp club members or with a $50 order. Only $5 with a $25 order as well...

This woven background card uses the MOJO397 sketch.

I saw this on Pinterest, and thought it would be fun to add to the inside.

We'll make this vellum layered Evergreen card too...

These Ascending Rectangle cards are everywhere, so I thought we might as well make one too! :) I read Lyssa Zwolanek's tutorial for size instructions.  Thanks Lyssa!

Our last fall card uses the Tweet Leaves stamp and the Core'dinations Cardstock with sanding block.
