I learned this fun way to stamp only on the embossed portion of the striped embossing folder from Janine Tinklenberg at Stampin' Up! Convention. I really enjoyed making a card with the technique, and I think you will as well!
Another wonderful Convention presentation was made by Mary Ellen Byler...I loved the numerous beautiful elements she added to her card! It was a jaw-dropper for me...So I ~had~ to CASE it...I didn't have the sets she used so I used the set Creative Elements and changed to another In Color....from Wisteria Wonder to Calypso Coral for this card. (You can see a printed picture of her card behind mine.)
We'll also make this Moon Pie Ribbon Slider which makes a fun Treat for a teacher or friend. We'll use the Poppin' Pastels/Chalboard technique as well as masking and heat embossing with Wild Wasabi embossing powder.
If you’d like to make an extra Moon Pie holder (they’d make great teacher or special spooky friend Treat), please let me know asap. You can make them for my cost (I haven’t yet bought the moon pies yet-we're at $1 so far.) rounded up to the nearest .25 cents.
We needed an easy one for the last project, but I think it is really nice because I LOVE the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper. It features 2-step stampin' and Rock N Roll.
